Magic Babka reads your sales email. That deserves a plain explanation rather than a policy you scroll past, so here is one.
What we store
Your account (name, email, timezone, revenue goal), the pipeline you enter (companies, contacts, deals, notes), and the briefings Magic Babka writes for you.
What we read from Google, if you connect it
Read-only access to Gmail and Calendar. Nothing is ever sent from your account — Magic Babka writes drafts and you send them yourself.
- Gmail. We look at messages to find threads involving people already in your CRM. For those, we store the sender, recipient, subject, date, and a short excerpt — not the full message body. Threads with nobody from your CRM in them are read and discarded, never stored.
- Calendar. We read today's events to know what is already scheduled. We store nothing from your calendar; it is fetched when you open the app and forgotten.
Claude
Magic Babka's coaching is Anthropic's Claude reading your pipeline. To produce a briefing we send your deal data — company names, amounts, stages, dates, and the email excerpts described above — to Anthropic's API. We do not send your password, your Google tokens, or anything from threads outside your CRM. Anthropic does not train models on data sent through their API.
This is the core of how the product works, so if you are not comfortable with it, Magic Babka is not the right tool. We would rather say that here than have you discover it later.
Who else sees it
Nobody. We do not sell data, we do not share it with advertisers, and there is no analytics product watching what you do inside the app. Our infrastructure and Anthropic are the only third parties involved.
How long
For as long as you have an account. Disconnect Google at any time from settings and we revoke the token at Google and delete it. Delete your account and everything goes with it, within thirty days, including backups.
